Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains exactly which cookies and similar technologies LearnZo places on your device. The short version: we use only what is strictly necessary to keep you signed in — no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no cross-site tracking of any kind.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the website remember information about your visit — such as your login session — between pages and between visits. Local storage is a similar browser technology for remembering small pieces of information; it is never sent to our servers automatically.
Exactly what we store
This is the complete list of what LearnZo places in your browser:
sb-*-auth-tokenCookie (strictly necessary)Your Supabase authentication session — keeps you signed in as you navigate between pages.
Duration: Until you sign out or the session expires.
cookie_consentLocal storageRemembers that you dismissed the cookie notice, so we don’t show it again.
Duration: Until you clear your browser data.
forum_terms_v1Session storageRemembers whether you agreed to the forum rules during this browser session.
Duration: Until you close your browser.
What we do not use
LearnZo does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, social media pixels, fingerprinting, or any other tracking technology. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent before placing any non-essential cookie.
Third-party cookies
When you purchase a Pro period, payment is handled by Stripe. During checkout, Stripe sets its own cookies for security and fraud prevention. These are governed by Stripe's privacy policy. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, those providers handle the sign-in on their own pages under their own policies. No other third party sets cookies through LearnZo.
Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Be aware that deleting or blocking the authentication cookie will sign you out and prevent you from signing in, since it is required for the platform to function. Clearing local storage simply means we will show you the cookie notice and forum rules again.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example if we add a new feature that needs to remember something in your browser. Changes are reflected by updating the date at the top of this page, and anything non-essential will always be opt-in.
